The Monmouth University Department of Psychology announced the recipients of the Doris Klein Hiatt Internship Award and the Scientific Excellence in Psychology Awards at the Undergraduate Student Conference held at Monmouth University on December 7. During the conference, student researchers presented original research and gave presentations on their internships.

For the first time, the Doris Klein Hiatt Internship Award was presented to an outstanding student who has completed an internship or individual placement through the Field Experience course. The award was created through donations from colleagues of Dr. Klein Hiatt in the Department of Psychology to honor her 33 years of dedicated service to Monmouth University students and to honor her work in mentoring students in internships and the Field Experience course.
