What: A conference presented by world-renowned child abuse expert Barbara L. Bonner, Ph.D. Dr. Bonner will present her research in understanding the dynamics and best practices for professionals involved in identification, investigation, treatment, case management, and disposition. 6 Clinical Social Work CEU’s, free parking, coffee and tea service, and full lunch will be provided.

Who: Barbara L. Bonner, Ph.D., is a clinical child psychologist and director of the Center on Child Abuse and Neglect (CCAN) in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Her clinical and research interests include the assessment and treatment of abused children, treatment outcome and program effectiveness, prevention of child fatalities, and treatment of children and adolescents with inappropriate or illegal sexual behavior. Dr. Bonner is past president of the Board of Councilors of the International Society for Prevention of Child Abuse and past president of the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (APSAC). She has presented her research throughout the U.S. and internationally.
