Chairs Announced for Monmouth University’s 39th Annual Holiday Ball

Monmouth University’s 39th Annual Holiday Ball, Raising Funds for Scholarships, will be held Saturday, December 7, 2013, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the grand ballroom of the University’s historic Wilson Hall, West Long Branch, NJ.

The black-tie event will be co-chaired by Wall, N.J. couple Karen S. Leoncavallo ’98M and Richard L. Ricciardi ’86M, both graduates of Monmouth University’s master’s program.

Leoncavallo was formerly the principal of Red Bank Primary School and the Supervisor of Early Childhood in New Brunswick. She currently works for Educational Testing Service as a scoring professional. Ricciardi, who also owns a home in Monmouth Beach, NJ, is a retired 3M executive and current vice chair of the Monmouth University Business Council. Both are actively involved in a variety of civic, community and University causes and are members of the Green Gables Croquet Club in Spring Lake.

Monmouth University’s Holiday Ball caps a year-long fundraising effort which raises an average of $750,000 annually to benefit the University’s Scholarship Fund.

The 2013 gala will include spectacular holiday trees, decorated with the personal ornament collection of seasonal designer Susan Musica, Neptune, a silent auction, cocktails and dinner, plus dancing to the music of Mission Dance.

Tree sponsorships, underwriting and ad journal opportunities are available.

Tickets are $250 per person, with a “Young Alum” price of $175 for Monmouth University graduates of the Class of ’08 – ’13.
