MONMOUTH UNIVERSITY ENTREPRENEURSHIP STUDENTS GIVING BACK

Paw-Triots dog treats, a new brand created by Monmouth University’s Entrepreneurship class, is partnering with K9 Soldiers, Inc. to give partial proceeds to support the service dogs of America.

For a few months the class has been working to produce an all-natural, grain-free dog treat with no fillers. These treats are manufactured in the USA and will support the dogs who serve the USA as K9 soldiers. The students are responsible for all aspects of creating this brand–from production, research & development, and sales, to marketing, publicity, and information technology.

K9 Soldiers, Inc., located in Flemington, NJ, is an organization that trains service dogs for soldiers returning from war who are in need of love and protection. They also have rescued dogs from the Afghanistan and Iraq area, giving them a warm, loving home and nursing them to health again.

The product launch for the Paw-Triots dog treat, open to the public, will be held on April 27 from 1 to 4 p.m., in Anacon Hall, located in the Monmouth University’s Rebecca Stafford Student Center. During this event, service dogs and soldiers, from K9 Soldiers, Inc., will be present, and all attendees will have the privilege of hearing the brave stories of our soldiers and their service dogs.

To RSVP to the event, please e-mail the official Paw-Triots e-mail: pawtriots@gmail.com.
