Dr. Robin Kucharczyk, lecturer in the Department of Chemistry, Medical Technology, and Physics, received Monmouth University’s “Hawks Fly Together” Award in April.  The award is given to a faculty member who shows pride in Monmouth University, takes action on campus to make it a better place, and looks out for the good of others. She resides in Oakhurst.

Students and faculty described her as “always being available for a student in need and is usually found helping someone solve a problem, whether it is her job to solve that problem or not” and for having a “selfless dedication to the students of Monmouth University.”

In addition to teaching general and organic chemistry courses, Dr. Kucharczyk is an advisor to second and third-year students in the Department’s Medical Technology and Clinical Lab Sciences programs. Her other activities include co-coordinating the Women in Science and Mathematics at Monmouth University program for faculty and students and the School of Science’s Peer Mentoring Program.
