STAFFORD PRESIDENTIAL AWARD OF EXCELLENCE GIVEN TO UNIVERSITY PHOTOGRAPHER JIM REME

The Stafford Presidential Award of Excellence was presented at Monmouth University’s annual employee awards and recognition luncheon held on May 9. The award was established in 2003 to recognize outstanding members of the University staff or administration for his or her tireless efforts, dedication, creativity, and evident commitment to supporting and enhancing Monmouth University.
This year’s recipient was University Photographer Jim Reme. President Paul G. Gaffney II presented Mr. Reme with a citation, an engraved desk clock, and a $1,000 honorarium at the luncheon.
Mr. Reme was chosen for his exceptionally meritorious achievements in service to the University. He has worked at the University for seventeen years and resides in Spring Lake Heights, NJ.
In addition, the Faculty Association of Monmouth University presented the Donald C. Warncke Award to Dr. Richard Veit. Dr. Veit is director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning and associate professor of anthropology at Monmouth University. Dr. Veit distinguished himself through outstanding and dedicated service to Monmouth University. Dr. Veit resides in South Plainfield, NJ.
