MONMOUTH U PROFESSOR RECEIVES NJ STATE SCHOOL NURSE AWARD

Monmouth University Professor Laura Jannone received the NJ State School Nurse Award from the NJ State School Nurses Association (NJSSNA) at its annual conference dinner held on March 18.
Dr. Jannone was honored for her hard work and dedication to the specialty practice of school nursing. In addition, she was recognized for helping NJSSNA to support certified school nurses in New Jersey so the organization can help students reach their maximum health and learning potential.
Dr. Jannone is the coordinator of the School Nurse Program, as well as a professor and director of the nursing graduate program at Monmouth University. She joined Monmouth University in 2000 and oversees one of the largest graduate programs at the University.
