Wilson Hall
Candlelight Dinner Tour
Friday, January 20, 2012 at 6 p.m.
Experience the magic and majesty of Monmouth University's Woodrow Wilson Hall as it was in 1929 -- when it was known as "Shadow Lawn," private home of F.W. Woolworth president Hubert Parson and his wife, Maysie.
You'll be transported back to a bygone era as you walk through the gilded rooms and ornate splendor that distinguishes this historic mansion, once the site of the "Summer White House." Who knows? You might even encounter one of the "ghosts of Wilson Hall," as featured in the award-winning student documentary, Shadows of Shadow Lawn!
This special evening features a full-course dinner in the beautiful Versailles Room, a fascinating photo presentation providing an insider's look at the extravagant lifestyle of the Parsons, plus a guided tour of one of the country's most magnificent architectural treasures.
A limited number of tickets for the Candlelight Dinner Tour are available for $50.
