• Counseling Students Association

All graduate students enrolled in the Master's in Mental Health Counseling program at Monmouth University are members of the Counseling Students Association (CSA). Each semester, the CSA sponsors events such as a semi-annual Labyrinth Walk, trips to relevant shows and workshops in New York, guest speakers on campus, an annual Meet & Greet to welcome our incoming counseling students, and more.

In addition to fundraisers, and initiating and promoting charitable efforts, the CSA has also offered reimbursements to students for their attendance at the annual American Counseling Association (ACA) conference. The CSA is a dynamic organization that is run by and for all our department's graduate counseling students.

Please help CSA collect toys for the Ashley Lauren Foundation's annual Summerfest coming up on Saturday, August 16th. The Ashley Lauren Foundation is a local nonprofit organization based in Colts Neck, NJ that helps children with pediatric cancer and their families. At Summerfest, a fun "day away" for the children, they have an opportunity to pick out a toy from the toy room to bring home with them. They are looking for new, unwrapped toys (no stuffed animals) for ages 5-18. Please take a look at the Summerfest flyer for more information. You can also check out the Ashley Lauren Foundation website for more about this wonderful organization.
All donations should be dropped off to room 112 of the Department of Psychological Counseling in the Monmouth Park Corporate Center no later than Thursday, July 31st. Please contact Georgette Barkala with any questions at s0629684@monmouth.edu or 732-600-2708. Thank you!
