Call for Proposals
Submission Deadline: May 31, 2013
In addition to our keynote speakers Dr. Eric Landrum and Dr. Susan Nolan, the conference will consist of a variety of concurrent sessions and poster sessions. All conference attendees are encouraged to submit proposals for the concurrent sessions or poster presentations. Submissions must be about the teaching of psychology, and can include (but are not limited to) innovative teaching techniques, classroom demonstrations or activities, use of technology as a teaching tool, and assessment strategies. We encourage proposals with empirical assessment of effectiveness.
Concurrent sessions can include presentations in a variety of formats, including individual or group presentations that are given in the format of the author(s) choice, such as hands-on workshops, panel discussions, or interactive lectures. Poster presentations sessions will include multiple presenters showcasing their work on easels, and presenters are asked to provide handouts that summarize and/or supplement their presentations.
Proposals for concurrent sessions and poster sessions should be submitted as e-mail attachments to firstname.lastname@example.org. They should include:
(a) the title
(b) authors names, affiliations and email addresses
(c) presentation format (i.e. workshop, discussion, lecture, poster, etc)
(d) no more than 400 word summary of proposed presentation
(e) a 100 word or less abstract to appear in the conference program.
