Which Program Is Which?

There are many software programs and tools that help the campus operate smoothly. Following is a glossary that should help you learn which program is used for what purposes.

CMS - Content management system used by designated Web site content managers
Colleague - part of Datatel that houses donor information
Datatel - central database for prospective and current student information
Doc-e-Scan - document imaging system that contains student records
eCampus (Desire2Learn) - instructional technology tool
Kronos - time and attendance system for hours worked and paid time off
OnBase - document imaging system that contains non-student information
Outlook Web Access (OWA) - e-mail account access from off-campus
PeopleAdmin - personnel requisitions, job searches, job descriptions, and evaluations
SharePoint - central file-sharing location for designated committees or groups
Ultipro - central database for human resources and payroll information
WebAdvisor - central database for course scheduling, grading, and more
