BOB PISANI SPEAKS AT ANNUAL H.R. YOUNG LECTURE
CNBC Financial Correspondent Discussed the Future of U.S. Economy.

Monmouth University was pleased to present Bob Pisani as the featured speaker at this year's H.R. Young Lecture on Business and Finance on May 3, 2005. The title of his lecture was
The U.S. Economy: Many positives, but is the picture changing? More than 100 people attended the event.
The H.R. Young Lecture Series is delivered annually by a distinguished leader in the financial community. The series is named after Mr. Young, whose leadership as a member of Monmouth University’s Board of Trustees was instrumental in the growth and success of Monmouth College and now Monmouth University. Mr. Young passed away in February of 2002.
Pisani has been a correspondent for CNBC since 1990. From 1990 to 1997 he covered the real estate industry and general business news. Since 1997 he has been the New York Stock Exchange reporter for CNBC, covering developments in the stock market, interviewing many business and government leaders, and informing viewers what Wall Street is talking about each day. He was present during the September 11 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center and the primary reporter covering that event in the weeks that followed.
Pisani was nominated twice, in 1993 and 1995, for a CableACE Award. He also is the co-author, with his father Ralph, of
Investing in Land: How to be a Successful Developer (John Wiley, 1989).
Pisani grew up working in his father's homebuilding business. He and his father taught a course on real estate development at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania from 1987 to 1992.
