The Real Estate Institute will be offering a new Special Topics Course next semester which will include “Real Estate Accounting for Non-Accountants”, and “Basics of Property Management”. These classes will be taught by highly experienced professionals in the field. The cost of each half-semester course is $500 or $900 if both half-semesters are taken. There is scholarship money available to all students regardless of need for up to 50% of the tuition. Discounts are available for multiple students from the same company.

This course is designed for real estate professionals who have little or no background in finance and accounting. Every real estate professional needs to understand the “basics” of real estate accounting in order to be a well-rounded professional. This seven-week course will provide that background at a very affordable price.
BASICS OF PROPERTY MANAGEMENT, half-semester (7 weeks)

This course will provide real estate professionals with another cornerstone body of knowledge in a fundamental aspect of real estate. Both residential and commercial property management will be taught by highly experienced Presidents of very high quality firms that manage many real estate projects. This seven-week course will round out the knowledge base of real estate professionals, at a very affordable price.
