Monmouth University's Holiday Ball capped a year-long fundraising effort in support of student scholarships. A total of $936,000 was raised in 2012 to benefit Monmouth University’s Scholarship Fund.
For the 20th consecutive year, Susan Musica, a professional holiday designer from Neptune, N.J., donated her time and talents to transform Wilson Hall’s “Grand Ball Room” into a winter wonderland, complete with trees decorated with her personal ornament collection. In 2012, her color scheme was “Traditional Holiday Red & White.” In addition to the individually decorated trees, she also designed and created each of the 32 table centerpieces.
As always, the black tie gala was an evening of festive merriment with cocktails, dinner, and dancing, plus a silent auction filled with unique offerings—just in time for holiday giving!
