May 2012 Commencement
Congratulations, Graduates!
Congratulations, graduates, on such a great accomplishment. During your time on campus, you showed that academic excellence is achieved through hard work and dedication. You deserve this success, and we're now honored to call you alumni of Monmouth University.
This year's speaker was Mark A. Emmert, PhD, president of the NCAA. Dr. Emmert offered words of encouragement and recognized the achievements of Monmouth's graduates. View the video of his Commencement address. |
We saw smiles and happy faces all around the PNC Bank Arts Center. Many graduates stopped to capture this moment with classmates, faculty, and friends. Visit the Commencement photo gallery on Flickr. |
The Class of 2012 included Marietta Boring, whose journey from homeless student to college graduate proved that success is always possible. Marietta's inspirational story was featured in the Asbury Park Press. |
