Multicultural and Diversity Initiatives
Monmouth University believes in diversity and creating an inclusive community. It draws much of its energy from a diverse student body that comes from 29 states and 28 nations. Monmouth University strives to promote an atmosphere that encourages and celebrates our differences with mutual respect and understanding.
The Office of Student Activities coordinates and co-coordinates many diversity initiatives on campus. From our annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Tribute, to the annual student performances of The Vagina Monologues, to the Bystander Action Campaign, there is always plenty to do. We also help serve on the University’s Hispanic Heritage Month, Disability Awareness Month, Black History Month, and Womyn’s Herstory Month Committees.
If you are interested in being a part of any of these committees, contact the Office of Student Activities and Student Center Operations.
