Dr. Ball joined Monmouth University in August 2007 and has taught undergraduate courses in both technology and operations management. His current research interests are in the areas of technology and operations management, real options, risk analysis, distributed decision-making, and the modeling and simulation of complex systems, with applications to both engineering and operational management domains. Additional research includes technologically-enhanced teaching methods.

Prior industrial experiences include working as a design engineer and project manager in the environmental consulting industry.
