About Us
The Monmouth University Center for the Arts oversees the performing, visual, and literary arts in order to collectively promote the vital pursuit of creative thinking and expression.
Monmouth University’s Center for the Arts is committed to bringing a diverse, award winning slate of arts programming to the people of New Jersey — and has been honored by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and the Monmouth County Arts Council. The Center also received the 2012 Spinnaker Award for Arts and Culture from the Eastern Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce for its ongoing mission of education, enrichment, and dedication to the community.
Our galleries, lecture halls, stages, and screens are ideal venues for you to enjoy a diverse collection of musicians, poets, novelists, actors, dancers, filmmakers, and visual artists that only the most intrepid of globetrotting adventurers could hope to encounter.
This season offers one of Ireland’s most sublime musical storytellers, and a chance to thrill to the work of traveling troupes who put a uniquely Stateside spin on African dance forms and Indian bhagra music. There are cultural ambassadors from the refugee peoples of North Africa, and next-generation bearers of the greatest pedigrees in modern American music — and, on our High Definition screens, a shared experience of work by some of the world’s greatest talents in opera and live theater.
WE invite you to explore ALL that the Center has in store, during a whirlwind season of creative energy and excitement.
