We've evolved from Monmouth Junior College to Monmouth College to Monmouth University, and our history continues to unfold!
Let's not lose the memories. The Office of Alumni Relations is actively seeking your interesting, unusual, or special items and artifacts to document our rich past. While an earlier request for donations to display at the 75th anniversary ball yielded quite a few "treasures," the majority were loaned and subsequently returned to the owners.
So, we sure could use your help. Donations of class notebooks, publications, office files, photographs, newspapers, pennants, buttons, manuscripts, diaries, "dinks"—virtually anything related to the history of Monmouth—will be accepted in this quest to preserve our historical legacy. Consider donating your piece of Monmouth history for this endeavor. Eventually it will become part of a rotating display in the new Alumni House.
Please keep us in mind when next you clean out your attic, basement, garage, and closets.
Contact the Office of Alumni Relations at 732-571-3489 or send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org and tell us what you find. Remember, one person's junk is an archivist's treasure!
