Transfer Scholarship
Complete your AA, AS, or AAS degree at a New Jersey community college, - Earn a 3.25 cumulative GPA,
- Enroll full-time in an academic program within Monmouth’s School of Science,
…and receive up to a $3,500 scholarship in addition to your merit award.
Beginning in Fall 2009, Monmouth University will award the School of Science Transfer Scholarship to all students who meet these criteria. Students with a 3.25 or greater cumulative GPA typically receive between $6,000 and $9,000 in merit aid; combined with a $3,500 School of Science Transfer Scholarship, this award equates to between $9,500 and $12,500 per year. Monmouth will renew the awards each year, assuming the student maintains a 3.0 grade point average and full-time enrollment in the School of Science.
Monmouth offers bachelor of science degree programs in:
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Clinical Laboratory Science
- Computer Science
- Marine Biology and Policy
- Mathematics
- Medical Technology
- Software Engineering
Students enrolling in science and education programs in biology, chemistry, and mathematics are also eligible for this scholarship.
