Housing Information
A variety of housing options exist on campus
at Monmouth.
Monmouth's resident students live in traditional residence halls, seven suite-style buildings, and three apartment complexes. In the traditional residence halls, two students typically share a room and each floor shares bathroom and shower facilities. In the suites there are typically four bedrooms off a common living room. Each suite has its own restroom and shower. Apartments on campus have a full kitchen and most have a washer and dryer.
All campus housing units are wired for cable TV, private telephones, and computer access. Each hall is staffed by professional hall directors or resident assistants who are trained to assist students and provide information about campus activities and programs.
IMPORTANT HOUSING INFORMATION
THE ENROLLMENT AND HOUSING DEPOSIT
An enrollment deposit is required of all students who have accepted offers of admission to the University.
Early action and regular decision applicants who have been accepted to the University must submit the $200 enrollment deposit before the May 1 National Candidate's reply date to reserve a space in the freshman class. (The enrollment and housing deposits are refundable if requested in writing before the May 1 deadline.)
Students who have requested housing on their application are encouraged to deposit early. Once the student accepts an offer of admission to the freshman class, the student is sent a welcome kit. Students requesting housing will be required to submit a $150 housing deposit with their housing contract. Priority of housing assignment is based on the date of receipt of the enrollment deposit, housing contract, and housing deposit.
