Dean Michael A. Palladino
SCHOOL OF SCIENCE
EDISON HALL, ROOM 154
This is an extraordinarily exciting time to be a student of the sciences. Dynamic changes and new discoveries in areas such as biotechnology, chemistry, genetics, medicine, and engineering coupled with the technical challenges that must be overcome to solve major global problems are creating outstanding career opportunities.
Our faculty members in the School of Science are committed to training the next generation of scientists, physicians, mathematicians, and others who will be future innovators and leaders in fields of science, technology, and science education.
You will find we are a community of teacher-scholars who are eager to encourage students to participate in student-faculty collaborative research opportunities that lead to the acquisition and dissemination of new knowledge.
Current Monmouth University undergraduate and graduate students are actively involved in faculty scholarship and research in biosciences, chemistry, field and lab work in environmental research, information and homeland security, software engineering, and many other areas.
Monmouth student researchers are producing important tangible products of their research experiences including co-authorship on peer-reviewed publications, presentations at local, regional, national and international conferences, awards, fellowships, and scholarships recognizing their work.
I welcome you to contact me or the Dean’s Office for further information about the school and our programs and I look forward to seeing you on campus.
