Student & Alumni Advisory Council 2011-2012
The School of Science Student and Alumni Advisory Council is comprised of undergraduate students, graduate students, and alumni. Council members include the presidents of honors societies and clubs in the School of Science and international student representatives. The council provides feedback to Deans Palladino, Duckett, and Tiedemann to improve the quality of academic and social experiences for School of Science students. Message from the Chairman My name is Mark Stranieri and I would like to take a moment to introduce myself and comment on the Student and Alumni Advisory Council (SAAC). I am a senior double major in Chemistry and Education. I plan to attend graduate school after graduation. I plan on pursuing my Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry. This will be my second year serving on the SAAC and it has been a true privilege to be a member of this council. The School of Science is experiencing a period of rapid growth and the SAAC is in a unique position to help this growth continue. The members of the SAAC offer unique perspectives that I know will be valuable assets to the Deans of the School of Science moving forward. I encourage all science students to voice their opinions about any type of improvements regarding the School of Science. Feel free to contact me or any of the SAAC members at their addresses listed. I look forward to a productive academic year working with everyone involved with the Student and Alumni Advisory Council.
