In the Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) program, students are expected to have completed the content discipline prior to beginning the graduate program. Some Monmouth University students are admitted to graduate study before a coherent sequence of at least 30 credits in a recognized liberal arts discipline (e.g., art, English, mathematics) has been completed. These students are expected to do all remaining undergraduate coursework at Monmouth.
