The Graduate School

The Graduate School administers the graduate programs through six academic schools: the Leon Hess Business School, the School of Education, the Wayne D. McMurray School of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Marjorie K. Unterberg School of Nursing and Health Studies, the School of Science, and the School of Social Work. Classes are offered year-round, scheduled predominantly in the evening. The exception is the MSW program, which offers a full-time program during the day and part-time program in the evening.

The Graduate School oversees the development and evaluation of graduate programs, and the teaching and research activity of graduate faculty. The responsibilities of the Dean of the Graduate School include monitoring the graduate admission process and overseeing program curricula, general academic standards, and the graduate student advising process.
