On Friday, December 11, 2009, TD Bank Global Trade Officer Charles Dugan will conduct an informal workshop on getting paid for US exports. Export payment terms, pro forma quotations, FOB, CIF, pricing, alternatives, and risk mitigation tools, along with letters of credit, documentary collections (documents against payment and documents against acceptance), sight and time drafts, L/C discrepancies, wire transfers, as well as acceptance financing will be covered. Attention will be given to documentation requirements to ensure smooth and timely payments. Charles will be on hand to provide one on one counseling afterward. A casual buffet lunch will be provided.
The Exporter Workshop is co-sponsored by Monmouth University Leon Hess Business School and the U.S. Department of Commerce Trenton Export Assistance Center.
Monmouth University is located in West Long Branch, New Jersey with easy access from the Garden State Parkway, Route 18, and I-195. Upon receipt of payment you will receive a confirmation via e-mail, along with directions to Bey Hall.
