Public Policy Minor
Monmouth University offers students the unique opportunity to minor in public policy. The public policy minor is designed to complement the University curriculum and can be completed with any major field of study. Career opportunities in public policy span a wide range of areas in government, non-profit agencies, and the public and private sectors. The minor enhances student skills in policy analysis, overall critical thinking, and in public debate. The minor also serves as an excellent gateway into Monmouth University’s Master of Arts in Public Policy program.
The minor is dedicated to teaching in accordance with the University's goal of serving the public interest and enhancing the quality of life. A public policy minor indicates to prospective employers and graduate schools that a student has received a background in:
- The practical tools necessary to analyze, formulate, and implement public policy
- The social responsibilities and ethical concerns critical to the policy process
The requirements to receive a Minor in Public Policy can be found on the official Monmouth University Minor in Public Policy curriculum chart.
