Professor Lynn Bodner Speaks

Professor Lynn Bodner delivered an enjoyable presentation for our April Math Colloquium. She spoke to an audience of students and faculty on the Symmetries of Islamic Patterns. It was standing room only!

Promotions

Congratulations to Dr. Lynn Bodner on being promoted to full professor. Congratulations to Dr. Joseph Coyle on being promoted to associate professor with tenure.

MAA Meeting

The Monmouth University mathematics department will be hosting the Spring 2009 MAA New Jersey Section Meeting as well as the 6th annual Garden State Undergraduate Mathematics Conference(GSUMC). The meetings will take place Sunday, March 29, 2009. The MAA-GSUMC student speaker will be MAA President Joseph Gallian of the University of Minnesota, Duluth.
