Professor Adekunle teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on the history, religions, and cultures of Africa and the Caribbean. He recently published his monograph, Politics and Society in Nigeria's Middle Belt: Borgu and the Emergence of a Political Identity (Trenton, NJ: Africa World Press, 2004). He also recently presented a paper on Nigerian politics and religions at the annual meeting of the International Association for the History of Religions, held in Tokyo, Japan.
