Department of English

Department Chair
Within the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, students can pursue a number of academic degree programs, including those available in the Department of English, and those available in conjunction with the School of Education.
Monmouth University's Department of English offers the enlightening vistas of Shakespeare, Chaucer, Austen, Twain, and Morrison. Through close reading and careful writing, we will sharpen your wits and make you into discerning, analytical, and mindful citizens.
Hone your vision and your pens; join us in the study of great literature, criticism, and creative writing.
