Department of Psychology

Within the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, students can pursue a number of academic degree programs, including those available in the Department of Psychology.

The Psychology curriculum is designed to focus on the scientific study of behavior and mental processes. Majoring in psychology can lead to employment in business and industry, government, social agencies, hospitals, clinics, and in fields such as personnel, sales, management, psychological testing, vocational guidance, clinical work, school psychology, college teaching, social service, and research.
