Nursing and Health Studies


The Marjorie K. Unterberg School of Nursing and Health Studies prepares students for careers in the healthcare profession focused on the care of individuals, families, and communities so they may attain, maintain, or recover optimal health. Those enrolled in the School of Nursing and Health Studies receive a first-tier education with faculty who are well-respected practitioners in their field and bring their considerable knowledge and experience into the classroom. Students can pursue a number of academic programs, including a BS in Health Studies, BS in Health Studies and Physical Education, BS in Health Studies/Physical Education/Education (K-12 endorsement), an RN to BSN program, RN to MSN Direct program, MSN, post-master's certificates, graduate certificates, and a new Doctor of Nursing Practice.
The Marjorie K. Unterberg School of Nursing and Health Studies is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Accreditation is an indication of public approbation, attesting to the quality of the educational program and the continuing commitment of the sponsoring institution to support the program.
