Department of Mathematics

Within the School of Science, Technology and Engineering, students can pursue a number of academic degree programs, including those available in the Department of Mathematics.
The mathematics department at Monmouth University provides a well-rounded program based in the traditional arts and sciences culminating with a bachelor of science degree. In addition to the traditional program, the department jointly sponsors, with the School of Education, a baccalaureate program in Mathematics and Education where students receive New Jersey Subject Area Certification in Mathematics, a BS in Education, and a BS in Mathematics.
Why study mathematics at Monmouth University? The answer to that question lies in your fundamental goals as a student. Monmouth is the place for you, if you would like to:
- interact with your professors
- participate in activities of the department (such as a tutor in the Mathematics Skills Center)
- assist professors in developing and experimenting with methods for the infusion of technology-assisted instruction into the curriculum and acquire the skills and motivation for life-long learning.
