Department of Chemisty, Medical Technology and Physics

Minor in Physics

Students who choose the Minor in Physics have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the foundations of physics and its applications in other fields.

Students majoring in Chemistry, Mathematics, or Software Engineering will complete all but two of the required courses in fulfillment of their degree requirements.

Chemistry and Education majors who complete the Minor in Physics will have completed all of the courses required by the State of New Jersey for Physical Science certification, one of the most highly valued teaching credentials in secondary school education.

The requirements to receive a Minor in Physics can be found on the official Monmouth University Minor in Physics curriculum chart.
