Andrew Marc Edelman, Graphic Design Senior

Andrew Marc Edelman, an art & design student, worked as the Graphics Runner during Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans.
Andrew, a senior majoring in graphic design with minors in business administration marketing and photography, flew out to New Orleans with CBS Sports for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
As a result of Andrew's exceptional work with CBS Sports as the graphic intern this past summer, CBS Sports offered Andrew the opportunity to work as the Graphics Runner broadcasting Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans. The week-long preparation leading up to the broadcast gave Andrew hands on experience assisting in the production of the graphics that went to air. Not only did he work with a combination of senior designers, he also was afforded the opportunity to contribute to the creative process and developed graphic content of his own.
Andrew said: "I was in shock at first, and very apprehensive. I knew it was going to be a lot of hard work and something I haven't ever experienced before. I realized, though, they would not have asked me if they didn't think I can handle it."
Andrew flew out on site 10 days prior to the event and was hard at work, he states: "The week was long and hard, but the feeling I had when I saw my designs air was one I can never duplicate, it really was so surreal."
