CS Alumnus Receives Distinguished Alumni Award at Founders' Day
Trish Millines-Dziko '79, a graduate of the Computer Science Department, received the Distinguished Alumni Award at the Founders' Day Convocation, October 10, 2007. A gifted student and an outstanding athlete, she went on to a distinguished career at Microsoft and then co-founded the Technology Access Foundation, which provides children of color with technology experience through education and access opportunities.

Dr. Obaidat Book and Distinguished Main Keynote Speech
Dr. Obaidat has published a book Security of E-Systems and Computer Networks and has also given the distinguished main keynote speech at the prestigious Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) International Joint Conference on e-Business and Telecommunications, ICETE 2007, in Barcelona, Spain, in July 2007.

The CS Department has moved to the second floor (top floor) of Howard Hall. The main office is now in room HH C-4. See the Faculty & Staff page for individual faculty location changes.

Dr. Kosaka NSF Grant
Dr. Kosaka has received a three-year National Science Foundation grant to continue her long-standing research on machine translation of languages.
