The CSSE Linux Instructional Lab, located in Howard Hall 305, is the department's main instructional lab for programming-intensive courses, such as CS-175/176 and CS-501a/501b. It also serves as an all-purpose lab to support research and student assignment/projects. The lab contains 25 PCs running Linux.
The lab is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., on days when the University is open for business. If it is not open during these hours for whatever reason, please contact Roseanne Gunter (x3441) for access.
All machines in the Howard Hall 305 Linux Lab are also accessible via ssh from anywhere on the University's network or VPN.
For help on printing from UNIX and using removable storage in the Linux Lab, see the Linux lab section of the CSSE Department Help Pages. Questions and suggestions for the lab should go to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Linux Lab is intended for use by Computer Science and Software Engineering majors and others who have Monmouth UNIX accounts.
