• Academic Monitoring

Periodically throughout the semester, students who are encountering academic difficulties are contacted by professional staff members via MEWS (Monmouth Early Warning System). Conferences can be arranged between students and staff members to discuss academic progress and to determine intervention strategies. At that time, students may need to consider utilization of accommodations or services that may assist them in becoming successful. A plan of action is developed.

Students who are on academic probation are urged to meet regularly with a staff member so that academic progress can be monitored closely. Academic probation can lead to academic dismissal from the University.
